Aphrodisiac herbs and Viagra, Cialis, or Levitra can be combined when used in lower amounts. Since it takes two or three days for Passion Rx, tongkat ali, and other herbs used for sexual enhancement to work, they can be taken two or three days in a row and then on the day of sexual activity, one can stop the herbal aphrodisiacs and instead take Viagra, Levitra, or Cialis perhaps at a little lower dose than usual. For instance, if a person normally uses 100 mg of Viagra, then one can take 50 mg instead. Specifically, if a person plans to be sexually active on Saturday evening, they can take Passion Rx or tongkat ali in the morning before breakfast on Thursday morning, and another pill Friday morning, skip Saturday, and then take Viagra about 2 hours before sexual activity. Many report excellent results with this combination. Read more about remedies for erectile dysfunction.
Viagra and its cousins work much better than herbal aphrodisiacs in terms of direct and quick engorgement of the penis. However, these medications do little for sexual urge, and even less for enhancing sensation. On the other hand the natural herbs help improve libido, sensation, and engorgement (but not as powerfully as the herbs). Therefore, the combination of the medications and the herbs can have a synergistic effect.
