A study at The Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio, compared the ability of different berry types to prevent chemically-induced cancers in the rat esophagus. Rats were treated with a cancer causing agent for 5 weeks, then placed on diets containing 5% of either black or red raspberries, strawberries, blueberries, noni, acaĆ or wolfberry until the end of the study. All berry types were about equally effective in inhibiting tumor formation. See http://www.raysahelian.com/berries.html
