Also known as cetyl myristoleate, it contains a concentrated extract of the fatty acid cerasomal-cis-9-acetyl-myristoleate from natural bovine source. CMO is not found in vegetable oils or other common foods, but it can be made in a laboratory using certain vegetable oils as a starting base. CMO is found in low amounts in animal connective tissue.
History
Cetyl myristoleate is the common name for cis-9-cetyl myristoleate, a compound made from cetyl alcohol and myristoleic acid. CMO was discovered in 1972 by Harry W. Diehl, PhD., a researcher at the National Institutes of Health.
Where is it found
CMO is a natural medium chain fatty acid found in certain animals, including cows, whales, beavers, and mice.

So it is 110 mg CMO per 550 mg of CMO complex. In the Joint Power Rx, it is 100 mg of complex which is 40 mg of CMO.
