Benefit, review
Catuaba bark is an herb and Dietary Supplement promoted as a natural female and male enhancement herb and pill. This aphrodisiac herbal product can be taken by itself or combined with other herbal enhancers. If combined, the dosage needs to be reduced. This natural aphrodisiac product works well in men and women and is found in extract form in a potent and effective libido enhancer called Passion Rx with Yohimbe.

History
Indigenous tribes of the Amazon rain forest and city dwellers in Brazil have used catuaba bark powder for generations. It is a Brazilian herb promoted for improvement. This supplement can be used by both men and women to enhance pleasure but men may need 2 capsules rather than one.

Combining with muira puama herb
Catuaba bark has been traditionally used by natives in the Amazon in combination with muira puama herb.

    Potency and effectiveness
    Q. Which of these herbs are more potent, avena sativa, ginseng, damiana, catuaba bark, maca, tongkat ali herb, tribulus terrestris or yohimbe bark?
       A. Much depends on the dosage used and the extract potency. Generally tongkat ali is quite potent, and so is yohimbe. Tribulus terrestris and catuaba are similar. But keep in mind that they each work in different ways. Some people respond better to one herb than another. We prefer combination formulas that take advantage of the benefits of each herb. One such excellent combination formula is Passion Rx with Yohimbe which is our bestseller.

    Side effects, adverse reactions, danger

No major side effects have been noted thus far. High dosages could lead to increased body temperature and excess energy and quick heart rate. More than 2 capsules a day can lead to insomnia.

    Hypertension, elevated BP
Blood pressure - we have had no reports that it causes high blood pressure. See the latest research on Catuaba side effects and adverse reaction reports.

    How it works, review
The substances found in catuaba bark include alkaloids (catuabine A, B, and C), tannins, aromatic oils and fatty resins, phytosterols and cyclolignans. The mechanism of action regarding its properties and its benefits is currently not well understood. It is not clear whether it influences levels of dopamine, nitric oxide, testosterone, other hormones, or works in a different pathway. Nitric oxide is a chemical in the body that helps dilate blood vessels. Human research is limited with catuaba bark and extract.

Which herbal aphrodisiac to buy first and experiment with
    Q.
For enhancement benefit, how do I know which formula or herb will work best before I buy a  improving product?
    A. There are quite a number of herbs that improve function, including Avena sativa, shilajit, catuaba, ginseng, muira puama, horny goat weed, mucuna pruriens, tongkat ali, yohimbe, and others. It is not possible to predict which one of these aphrodisiac herbs will work in anyone. If you buy an enchancement improving product, try it for a week or two before moving on to another one.

    How often to take, cycling
    Q. Should catuaba supplement be cycled, in other words should a person take time off from using catuaba herb and not use it continuously?
    A. Our advice with all enhancement  herbs, including catuaba bark supplement, is to take breaks from use. The frequency and length of these breaks are not set in stone, but on average a minimum break of two days a week and one week off a month is suggested.

    Male enhancement
    Q. Is catuaba a male enhancement herb?
    A. It depends on the definition of male enhancement. If one defines male enhancement as enlargement of the penis beyond its normal anatomical limitations, no. But if male enhancement is defined as a loose term that means overall enhancement and enhanced stamina, then catuaba supplement falls into this category.

Combining with prescription erectile dysfunction medications
    Q.
Can it be used with Viagra, Cialis, Levitra or other impotence medications?
    A. We suggest you take catuaba pills for 2 days in a row and on the day of  activity you could take a prescription erectile dysfunction medication, such as Viagra, Levitra, or Cialis, but at a lower dosage.

    Which form is best
    Q.
Liquid and tincture, or tea, do they work?
    A. You could make your own tincture by emptying the contents in any kind of liquor, but use only a small amount of the alcohol. All forms work.

    Testimonial
I am a 52 year old male with no major health problems except difficulty in staying erect. My doctor checked me and did not find any heart problems. I found out about catuaba herb from a friend of mine who lived in the country of Brazil. He suggested 2 capsules a day. After 3 days I can certainly say that it has made a difference without any negative reactions that I can tell.
