Questions:
Q. Can children or teenagers take Eyesight Rx?
   A. This product was formulated for adults and we don't have much experience with its use in children or teenagers. If your child's doctor approves, a smaller dose such as a third of a tablet can be used a few times a week.

Q. I did not see a list of the amounts of eye herb or vitamin in this formula. I take other vitamins for my eyes. I  do not want to be over medicating myself or not enough. My eyes are precious to me and I want to keep seeing for years to come .I was under the impression that you have to list your ingredients amounts. I would like to know the exact amounts of each ingredient before I order this product.
    A. The FDA requires companies to list the ingredients in a dietary supplement formula, but allows the option to not list the amounts since they recognize that this is the only way vitamin companies can prevent other companies from copying their successful formulas since, unlike prescription drugs, vitamins and nutrients and herbs cannot be patented. We recognize that some people do not want to buy a natural product unless they know exactly how much of each ingredient is in the product, but we are willing to lose some sales in order to prevent larger losses if other companies copied this successful formula. We have a high rate of reorder with this eye product and we are perfectly content in losing some sales in order to maintain the proprietary secret. We suggest those who purchase this eye formula not to take other vision herbs, vitamins  or formulas the same day. In the long run, this vision formula is only used three or four days a week.

Q. Can I take Eyesight Rx with another vision product bought by another company?
   A. Most likely you would not need to since Eyesight Rx is potent by itself. You may consider alternating their use.

Q. Can I take fish oils the same day as Eyesight Rx?
   A. Fish oils and krill oil provide EPA and DHA, important fatty acids that are healthy for vision and the retina. Yes, it is okay to take a couple of fish oil softgels a day, and this would likely enhance the visual benefit obtained from Eyesight Rx.

Q. Is it okay to have a glass of wine or beer on the day that I have taken Eyesight Rx?
   A. Yes, as long as you limit it to one drink.

Q. Can I take Eyesight Rx with Passion Rx the same day?
   A. No. They are both potent, choose one or the other on any particular day.

Q. Can I take Eyesight Rx and Mind Power Rx the same day?
   A. Only if you limit the dose to half a tablet and the Mind Power Rx dose to one capsule only.

Q. Before ordering I would like to have more information about the exact amounts in the formulation of the Eyesight Rx
   A. Dr. Ray Sahelian formulated this natural eye product and since it is so successful, and is such a novel concept in terms of melting it under the tongue, that the Physician Formulas marketing dept decided not to reveal the exact dosages to prevent other companies from copying the eyesight formula. We understand we may lose a few customers who like to see the exact amounts of herbs and nutrients they are consuming, and we completely understand this. However, we rather lose a few potential customers than reveal the exact dosages of this successfu eyesight formula.

Is the Eyesight-Rx product also recommended for people in their 20s or 30s who don't have perfect eyesight or is it only for older people with aging vision?
    Many people in their 20s and 30s take this product and are content with the benefits, although they use it less frequently and take breaks such as a week off each month.

Could you please let me know if Eyesight Rx can help someone who has macular degeneration?
    The FDA does not allow us to make claims regarding our supplements that they can treat a medical condition. Mostly what we are allowed to say about Eyesight Rx is that is supports healthy vision and can help with color perception and focus. We cannot make claims that it cures or treats myopia, macular degeration, or an eye condition.

I have been taking lutein and bilberry supplements off and on for several years. I just bought some Eyesight Rx and would like to know if I can take all three at the same time for eyesight health.
    Since this formula is only taken a few days a week, we suggest taking the bilberry or lutein on the days you are not taking Eyesight Rx.

Does Eyesight Rx need to be taken the rest of your life or will it help improve or heal your eyes and your eyesight so that you don't need it anymore.
    The benefits of Eyesight Rx fade after a few days of stopping it. However, with time, you may need to take it less frequently or at a lower dose.

The potency of ingredients listed in Eyesight Rx was not available. Can you provide amounts of the ingredients?
    Eyesight Rx is a proprietary blend, meaning the FDA allows us not to list the exact amounts in order to protect the formula from other companies copying it.

I am a new customer and would like to add Eyesight Rx to my regular use of supplements. I understand your secrecy about your formulas; however I suffer from age related macular degeneration. I take 10mg of lutein plus 400µg of zeaxanthin plus most of the AREDS formula on a daily basis. If I am to add Eyesight Rx, then I will need to know the amounts of lutein and zeaxanthin in the formula plus anything that would influence the AREDS formula.
    We cannot divulge the amounts of lutein, zeaxanthin or other herbs and nutrients in this eyesight formula, but we can say that on the days that you take Eyesight Rx, you would not need to take the other supplements for eyesight improvement. We suggest using Eyesight Rx only three or four times a week, and on the other days your other eyesight supplements can be taken.

I would like to try Eyesight Rx would it be ok to take with an 81 mg asprin or does it thin the blood?
    We don't have any reason to suspect aspirin would interfere with Eyesight Rx.

I have a query. It states on the ingredient list that the proprietary blend is a total of 43 mg. is this correct please as it seems low considering the number of factors in the mix?
    Many of the ingredients in Eyesight Rx, for instance lutein, are highly concentrated extracts. Some as high as 90 percent, which means they can be several fold more potent than regular herbs. It is not easy to predict the potency of a product by the total milligrams since herbs can come in various extract potencies and sometimes 1 mg of an extract can be as potent as 20 to 50 mg of a regular herb powder.

I am very interested in your product. I have read the FAQs on your website and you said that visual enhancement benefits fade after a few days. Do you mean it is just a temporary effect and not really something that improves the eyes? For instance, if I were to take Eyesight Rx and then suddenly run out of pills, and my vision has noticeably changed, my eyes would return to the state before taking Eyesight Rx even under good care of my eyes?
    Yes, most likely after a few days your vision would return to what it was before use. We are not aware of eye supplements or eye medications that cause permanent vision improvements after stopping their use.

Does alcohol interact with the product, or render it less effective, or is there some other reason?  I'm asking because sometimes I have more than a glass of red wine.
    Alcohol should not influence the effect of this product, but we just want to be cautious and not have people drink too much.

Interactions with medications
I just wanted to let you know that I take one tablet of Eyesight formula every other day along with my thyroid medication Synthroid and I have not seen any changes in thyroid hormone levels.
