Colostrum information
Colostrum is the early milk produced for a few days after delivery. In cows, it's called bovine colostrum. This milk is apparently rich in immunoglobulins which are certain types of protein. There are other types of compounds within bovine colostrum, such as growth factors, nucleosides, etc., that are not found in regular milk.
