Q. Can I take Prostate Power Rx supplement if I am taking Avodart? 
   A. Some people find the daily use of Avodart causes side effects. Perhaps alternating one day of Avodart and another day of Prostate Power Rx could minimize the Avodart side effects. Please have approval by your doctor.

Q. Should I take one or two capsules of Prostate Power Rx daily?
   A. We allow the option to take one or two depending on your need and preference. Some people may wish to take a day or two off a week.

Q. My doctor has me on Proscar for prostate issue. Can I add Prostate Power Rx as a prostate formula to my regimen?
   A. As with Avodart above, Proscar can cause side effects such as lower libido or sexual interest or even difficulty with erection. You may ask your doctor if you can take the Proscar every other day while substituting the Prostate Power Rx on the off days from Proscar. Proscare and Avodart are very effective in helping with prostate enlargement, but many times patients are helped by these drugs by taking a lower dose or by taking them less frequently.

Q. Why don't you list testimonials for your prostate formula Prostate Power Rx?
    A. FDA does not allow listing of testimonials in terms of mentioning benefits in BPH treatment, and we agree with the FDA. The majority of the time testimonials are created by the companies that sell their products and are not real; or the testimonials are selective, that is, only the positive ones are listed. FDA does not allow claims of diagnosis or treatment to be made about a prostate formula or any natural supplement formula and a testimonial would imply a successful treatment.

Q. Can I take Prostate Power Rx the same day as Passion Rx?
   A. We suggest you not take Prostate Power Rx on the days that you take Passion Rx. In the long run, Passion Rx may only be needed 2 days a week since it is potent.

Q. What do you think of taking Prostate Power Rx and beta sitosterol the same day?
   A. We prefer using them on alternate days, however if you have taken both beta sitosterol and a capsule of Prostate Power Rx the same day and you feel fine with it, you could continue.

Q. What foods are good for natural prostate health?
   A. Eating lots of vegetables and whole grains along with cold water fish are good food options for long term natural prostate health.

Q. I have a few questions about Prostate Power Rx I trust you may be able to answer. What is the country of  origin of the product ? Do any of the ingredients used have their origin in china? Have you had any reports of interactions with Lisinopril, Cardizem, or other medications?
   A. All of the Physician Formulas products are manufactured in either California or Arizona. Prostate Power Rx has several herbs and nutrients which come from various sources. Although most of the raw materials are from the US, it is possible that a few could come from foreign countries, including at times, China. However, each time a raw material is used in the Prostate Power Rx formula, or any formula, it is tested by HPLC to determine its purity and the certificates of analysis are reviewed by our research staff. As to interactions with other medicines, we have not had any reports thus far that Prostate Power Rx has any untoward effect with other medicines but it is impossible to test this prostate product against the thousands of prescription medications. Ultimately your doctor would have to make the final decision regarding the use of this prostate product in combination with the prescription drugs.

Q. Does Prostate Power Rx contain a prostate herb called rye pollen or Cernilton?  If not, why not?
   A. Prostate Power Rx does not contain rye pollen extract. Cernilton is a trademarked product from rye grass pollen extract. Prostate Power Rx formula contains important prostate herbal extracts and compounds such as saw palmetto, pygeum, stinging nettle, beta sitosterol, and others. Dr. ray Sahelian who forulated the product, did not believe rye pollen was necessary for this particular prostate formula.

Q. I have an enlarged prostate, will Prostate Power Rx be helpful and a beneficial treatment for my prostate enlargement?
   A. The FDA does not allow claims to be made that a particular supplement treats or cures a medical condition. We abide by these rules and therefore cannot make any such claims about this prostate formula.

Q. Does the prostate formula Prostate Power Rx help with hair loss? Does it block dht? Any customers report that it has helped regrow hair loss?
   A. We have not had any feedback regarding the benefits of Prostate Power Rx for hair loss. We don't know if this prostate formula blocks DHT since we have not done such studies.

Q. I am taking a penis enlargement pill that has saw palmetto and I was wondering if I could take Prostate Power Rx with it.
   A. Without knowing the exact ingredients in the product, it is difficult to say.

I've been reading prostate supplement ads online where it is mentioned, in many of them, that they improve the flow of urine and prevent the enlargement of the prostate gland, even reducing it to its normal size. Your company carries for sale Prostate Power-Rx, does your product also help with an enlarged prostate gland symptoms?
    The FDA does not allow claims to be made regarding the treatment of a medical condition with a supplement. BPH, or enlargement of the prostate, is a medical condition and a company that claims their prostate formula shrinks the prostate gland or improves urine flow is violating FDA rules since it is claiming that their product improves these symptoms and signs. We make no such claims with our product only to say that it supports healthy prostate gland function, a claim allowed by the FDA.
